Low bap is the name of the musical and social movement that has its roots in Greek hip hop. The place of its creation is considered to be Perama of Piraeus. Literally, low bap does not mean anything specific. It is a word that captures through music and specifically through hip hop, the view that people belonging to this movement have about life, society, politics. A general stream had developed around the low bap, which included bookstores, youth centers, and specialized magazines. Also, with low bap, there have been film projects, concerts, festivals, and many experiments with new bands and music.
